TRUCK & TRAILER MECHANIC

We are currently accepting applications for Truck & Trailer Mechanics to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and faults
- Order appropriate parts
- Complete repairs
- Clean and maintain equipment and tools
- Safe operation and upkeep of company mobile service units
- Various other garage-related activities
We are looking for the following skill sets and experience:
- 2-5 years of progressive experience as Truck and Trailer Service Technician preferred
- Red Seal Truck and Trailer Mechanic or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic would be considered an asset
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
- Air brake endorsement considered an asset
- Any advanced diagnostic training considered an asset
- Familiar with mechanical reliability principles and programs
- Well versed in machine software packages
- Strong safety mindset, with the ability to perform all duties with a high degree of safety consciousness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Technologically inclined (Computer, Smartphones, Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work overtime as required
