The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the company’s continued compliance to food industry regulations home and abroad. This role will be responsible for assisting in activities surrounding regulatory compliance for the company.
Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Education Required: Post-Secondary Education in Science (Food Science, Nutrition, Biology or Chemistry)
- Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 years in Quality Assurance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and to multitask with a "Can Do" attitude
- Candidate must be bilingual (English & French)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Tech Sales, and/or R&D on Special Project Research (new developments and opportunities)
- Packaging review/label compliance (label information, translations, ingredients declaration), compliance with applicable regulation of the country of sale and country of manufacturing
- Identity Preserve Management (Kosher, Halal, GMO), registrations, legal agreements, and facility certification
- Customer Forms/Requests: Provide product information such as ingredient listings, nutritional data, and preparation instructions to internal and external customers.
- Research Projects, introducing product into new countries, using new ingredients.
