ISI is seeking a Platform System Manager to hold the following responsibilities:
- Chair of the Platform IPT, driving delivery of the CSC Design via management of Sub Contractor Scope to time and schedule.
- Perform a co-ordinating function across all ISI Delivery and Design Director sub teams to ensure all stakeholder requirements are considered and integrated into the CSC Platform Design via the IPT.
In addition:
- Managing the Product Safety Workstream via development of the CSC Wholeship Safety Case
- Managing the Certification Workstream to the satisfaction of external regulator organisations
- Managing the Classification Society Approval of the CSC Design via Lloyds Register Canada
- Managing the Requirements Team (including Model Based Systems Engineering)
- Managing System Security Engineering Team
This is a permanent full-time role based in Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The primary language of work is English. Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 10+ Years of naval ship design, certification and build experience
- 7+ Years in a Design Authority, Supervisory, Management or Leadership role
- Experience working on naval ship new build projects
- Ability to work in collaboration with many stakeholders across the enterprise
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
