PLANT WORKER III
 
Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 8 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada.  Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.
 
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the successful candidate will be a results-driven, self-starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment. The Plant Worker will be assisting with the day-to-day operations of the plan.  The successful candidate will be able to operate heavy machinery and maintain equipment. 
 
Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs (25kgs)
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
• Mechanical aptitude and experience working in manufacturing
• Farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate multiple pieces of equipment including forklift, skid steer, loaders, 1A and 3A vehicles
• Maintenance on equipment
• Operate blending equipment to fill customer orders, including monitoring fertilizer as it is being placed in blender.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of plant.
• Assisting sales team and customers with various product related requests.
• All other related duties as assigned
