Pricing Analyst

In addition to delivering bulk products in line with top tier industry standards, RST also provides emergency response and training services throughout Atlantic Canada. 

RST is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Pricing Analyst. The successful applicant is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic pricing programs to deliver profitable growth through pricing. The Pricing Analyst will lead the development and implementation of internal pricing strategies, including pricing analytics, pricing optimization, customer segmentation, and pricing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of pricing programs to maximize profitability across all customer bases.
• Lead the development of comprehensive strategic plans for pricing, pricing optimization, customer segmentation and margin improvement and profitability.
• Create and implement pricing analyses for senior leadership review and pricing strategy evolution.
• Drive continuous improvement in the price management structure.
• Analysis of margins, revenue and profitability and presenting pertinent information to the management team.
• Develop proposal templates and strategies.
• Continuous bench marketing research to stay competitive.
• Respond to prospective customers for spot quotes.
• Working closely with Sales & Marketing, as well as Operations to ensure alignment. 

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of financial modeling, pricing analytics and optimization; margin profitability; skills demonstrated in pricing strategy and modeling.
• Experience with large, organizations preferred - demonstrated ability to work with teams within and outside of direct control is a must.
• Ability to make a significant contribution to performance and profitability
• Proficient with MS Excel.
