Project Coordinator
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support an exciting shipbuilding program delivering capability to our Canadian Navy. The Project Coordinator assists with project management duties that improve the overall project coordination, project schedule, and efficiency of our team. A dynamic and critical role to our team, this team member understands technology, people and how to make things happen.

The successful candidate will need to pass Canadian government security clearances.
Your Focus:
- Responsible for administration support to ensure successful delivery of IT projects and service requests related for the Irving Shipyard
- This includes progress tracking, invoice tracking and maintenance of all key risks and issues documentation
- Management of assets related to all service inquiries
- Management of all new customer requests to IT
- Management of IT equipment inventory
- Administration of the Procure to Pay process for IT products and services
- Deliver financial reporting and tracking of IT activities, related to the Irving Shipyard
You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience

Nice to have:
- Project management skills would be considered an asset
- Procure to pay work process experience would be considered an asset
- Experience in the shipbuilding industry would be considered an asset
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance.
