Senior Strategic Pricing Specialist

We are currently seeking applicants for the role of Senior Strategic Pricing Specialist. Reporting to the VP Corporate Pricing, the Senior Strategic Pricing Specialist will help drive margin improvement and best practices throughout the JDI Moncton Group of companies. 
  
Key responsibilities include:  

• Help build best practices for all companies by researching top strategic pricing practices and behaviors.
• Provide support to current pricing teams to help improve and optimize all price related models and tools.
• Facilitate and monitor affiliate service level agreements and RFPs.
• Develop pricing strategies for a portfolio of current and future products across targeted market segments.
• Research the market to understand competitive landscape. Identify target market position by geography, market segment, customer group, etc.
• Work with J. D. Irving, Limited, Moncton Group of Companies to consume technical and behavioral data to make better business decisions leading to margin growth.  

 
 
We are looking for someone who has: 

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or related degree.
• 5+ years pricing experience.
• Strong knowledge in transportation and retail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Technical skills including Alteryx and Cognos are considered an asset.
• Proficient in Excel
• Self-starter
