PROJECT/FACILITIES ENGINEER

Facilities Engineers work as a part of the Project Department at the Pulp & Paper Mill and manage and execute mechanical and civil projects and capital improvements projects of varying magnitude while interfacing with other disciplines and external stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Management of mill projects from concept to commissioning
- Lead cross functional teams involving engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, unionized contractors and mill personnel to ensure projects are completed in a cost effective, timely and reliable manner
- Support facility programs when required
- Work with a highly driven team to support mill activities
We are looking for the following skill sets and experience:
- Bachelor of Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Experience in an industrial environment
- Self-motivated and flexible
- 3 to 10 years experience in their field
- Well developed written and verbal communications skills
- Prior experience in pulp and paper engineering is an asset
- PMP Designation is considered an asset but not required
