INSTRUMENT & CONTROL ENGINEER

Instrument & Control Engineers work as a part of the Electrical & Instrumentation Department at the Pulp & Paper Mill and conduct Capital Project Work including the planning, designing, selection and commissioning of logic and equipment. They provide assistance with day-to-day instrumentation requests and predictive maintenance programs. In addition, they provide supervision to Electrical Technicians as required.

We are looking for the following skill sets and experience:

• Experience in instrumentation and controls in an industrial environment
• Post Secondary Education including Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, or Technology/trades certification, P. Eng is an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment: meet deadlines, develop plans, manage workloads with sound decision making skills, work autonomously and collaborate with many groups
• Sound problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Proven leadership ability and able to work well within a team
