SEASONAL FERTILIZER MIXER

Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 8 manufacturing/retail locations throughout Atlantic Canada.  Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Seasonal Fertilizer Mixer will achieve results by following a detailed process that ensures accurate mixes and a safe working environment. This is accomplished by using computerized technology to select the appropriate fertilizer blends, based on customer specifications.

The work will start in early May and continue until the end of June with the possibility of extension, based on weather and business needs.

Wages- $18- $20/ hr

Key responsibilities: 

• Use detailed processes to ensure that correct blends are mixed according to order specifications
• Use agricultural software to prepare and load raw materials from an in-house control room
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Committed to participating in a safe work environment 
• Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
• Mechanical aptitude and experience working in manufacturing or farm operations would be preferred, but not required
